FAQ

Before You Send an Enquiry

Can you work from a worn part instead of a drawing?

Yes — that is the majority of aftermarket work. We measure the interfaces, reconstruct the vane profile and state on the quotation which dimensions came from the sample.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Minimum order quantity is 100 pieces. Lead time is quoted per project, since it depends on whether tooling already exists for the part.

Do you supply material certificates?

EN 10204 3.1 per heat with spectrometer results. Dimensional and balancing reports ship with the parts.

Can you match an alloy we cannot identify?

PMI on the sample identifies the alloy family. We state what was found and what we propose to pour — occasionally a better choice than the original.

How long does a first article take?

It depends on tooling. Lead time is quoted per project after the interface review rather than published as a blanket figure.

Do you handle balancing in-house?

Yes. The grade is agreed per order against ISO 1940 and the achieved grade is stated on the report that ships with the part.
